LANSING, MI -- The largest Fast Cash prize ever won in Michigan has been claimed by a Berrien County lottery club. The two-member 126 Lottery Club purchased the winning Detroit Lions Rush for Riches ticket on Jan. 3 at the American Legion Post 51, located at 403 East Front Street in Buchanan.
“I bought several Fast Cash tickets that night because the jackpot was so high,” said a club member. “I looked this ticket over and thought it was a $50 winner, but I scanned it to double check. I got a message to file a claim at the Lottery office, so I scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app. I started shaking when $4.14 million came up on my phone screen! Winning this kind of money is life-changing.”
The members visited Lottery headquarters in Lansing recently to claim their prize. With their winnings, they plan on building a new home, visiting Disney and saving the remainder.
The previous Fast Cash record of $2.39 million was set in March 2025 by Shiawassee County man.
Fast Cash games are a series of games that print tickets directly from Michigan Lottery terminals at Lottery retailers across the state. Once the jackpot is won, it resets instantly. Fast Cash tickets range in price from $2 per play up to $30 per play.

The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed an $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel.
And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
