Chelsea currently sit outside of the top four, but that does not mean they do not have an exceptionally gifted squad of players.
This season, Liam Rosenior has been able to rely on the likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
Right now, Fernandez is one of the most in-form players in the Premier League, scoring Chelsea’s winning goal against West Ham United just before their 2-2 draw with Leeds United.
Joao Pedro is another star at Stamford Bridge who is also at the top of his game at the moment.
Out of Andrey Santos, Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian, who deserves a World Cup place the most?🤔
Carlo Ancelotti thinks it's Estevao…

Liam Rosenior on Chelsea’s signing of Joao Pedro
Following Chelsea’s draw with Leeds, Rosenior shared that the Club World Cup winners had to work extremely hard to bring Pedro to the club.
“He’s a top player, he always has been,” the 41-year-old said via Chelsea’s official club website. “Speaking to the guys, I know how hard the club worked to bring him here, because he had that potential and he’s now starting to show that.”
Newcastle United’s interest in Pedro was well-documented, while the Brazilian had also been linked with Liverpool.

What do you think?
It was Chelsea who managed to win the race for Pedro’s signature in the end, though, and they will be very glad that they did.
The 24-year-old put in another excellent display on Tuesday, scoring the Blues’ opener before winning a penalty. He has arguably been the team’s top performer since Rosenior’s arrival.

Joao Pedro one of Chelsea’s best signings under BlueCo
A lot of signings that Chelsea have made under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital have not worked out. Pedro is not one of them.
His goal against Leeds was his 10th in the Premier League this season and 13th across all competitions. In total, Pedro has scored 16 goals in 38 outings for Chelsea, with the Brazilian also netting three times in last summer’s Club World Cup.
Chelsea may very well have had to put a lot of effort into signing Pedro because of rival interest, but he has been worth every penny and then some.
The Brazil international is definitely up there with Palmer, Caicedo, Fernandez and Marc Cucurella when it comes to transfer successes in the post-Roman Abramovich era at Stamford Bridge.
