Wednesday morning, the NFL revealed its 319-player invite list for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, unveiling which players have been invited to participate in interviews, media appearances, measurements and scouting drills in Indianapolis February 23 through March 2.
Among the players invited included eight members of Michigan's 2025 team. Here are the Wolverines who received invitations:
Max Bredeson, running back
Donaven McCulley, wide receiver
Marlin Klein, tight end
Jaishawn Barham, defensive lineman
Rayshaun Benny, defensive lineman
Derrick Moore, defensive lineman
Jimmy Rolder, linebacker
Dominic Zvada, kicker
Michigan's eight invitees is tied for 14th nationally, trailing a list led by Texas A&M's 13 players invited. Alabama (12), Ohio State (11), LSU (11), Miami (10), Georgia (10) and Oklahoma (10) all ha double-digit invitees, while Indiana, Oregon, Clemson, Florida, Iowa and Penn State all had nine players invited. That means the Wolverines ranked sixth in the Big Ten in combine invitees. The Wolverines, who were the youngest team in the Big Ten, went 9-4, and finished the season ranked No. 21 in the AP Poll.
In terms of Michigan players' draft statuses, Derrick Moore is the player rising the most lately. The first-team All-Big Ten edge rusher had a strong week of practices at the Senior Bowl, and has climbed to No. 66 overall in the NFL Mock Draft Database, which compiles mock drafts from several publications.
Behind Moore, Barham (129th in the database), Benny (135th) and Klein (166th) are projected as mid-round draft prospects, while Zvada (305th, third among kickers), Rolder (324th) and Bredeson (366th, but among the higher-ranked fullbacks) will try to sell NFL scouts and front-office executives on the roles they can play at the next level.
Notable players from Michigan ommitted from the combine invitation list include edge rusher TJ Guy (248th in the database), captain and offensive guard Giovanni El-Hadi (333rd) and center Greg Crippen.
The NFL Combine drills will take place beginning Feb. 26, and can be seen daily through March 2 on NFL Network. The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh April 23-25.
