Manchester City v Fulham: Gut Feelings

Manchester City can move to within three points of Arsenal if they beat mid-table Fulham at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening. The Blues came from a goal down on Sunday to beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield, a result that will have surprised the most ardent of followers.

Bernardo Silva levelled and Erling Haaland kept his cool to score from the spot to give the Blues only their third win at Anfield since the early 80s to keep the pressure on the Gunners.

Fulham slumped to a 2-1 home defeat to Everton at the weekend and they will be eager to stop the rot before it begins. The Cottagers have not won away from home since a 1-0 victory at West Ham at the end of December.

Can the Blues keep the momentum going and keep the pressure on Arsenal on a wet night in Manchester?

Our team, as usual, are here to give us their thoughts and opinions on the match. Here’s what we think this week.

At home vs a Fulham side that needs work. I like City to win pretty easily. 4-1.

City are inconsistent but will be full of confidence after the Liverpool game on Sunday.

I think they’ll win this one.

City look to ride the momentum they built in the last 15 minutes at Anfield. The lads can’t miss a chance to put some real pressure on the Gooners. Come On City!!

Full of confidence against a difficult team but I think City will come out on top. I’m torn between a thumping win or a casual victory. I’m going for thumping.
