Tottenham could compete with Arsenal and Manchester United for the signing of an in-form Serie A winger.
Tottenham Hotspur were unable to address key areas of the squad in the past winter transfer window, and it is quite understandable. Signing quality players in the mid-season trading period is very difficult, yet Spurs, at least, managed to land Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid.
Thomas Frank’s squad has been ravaged by injuries in the last couple of months. Right now, he is without 12 first-team players, who are either sidelined through injury or suspended. Additionally, Tottenham allowed Brennan Johnson to depart and join Crystal Palace at the start of 2026. Injuries to Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison followed, weakening Thomas Frank’s options in attack.
That said, replacing Johnson in the squad has to be among the north London club’s priorities heading into the summer transfer window. And it looks like they have already set their sights on an in-form winger.
AC Milan star Christian Pulisic emerges as a target for Tottenham
According to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, Tottenham are one of the Premier League clubs interested in signing AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic. Arsenal and Manchester United are also monitoring the USA international’s situation in Milan.
Christian Pulisic has been a key player for AC Milan since joining from Chelsea back in 2023, scoring 43 goals and providing 22 assists in his 121 games. The 27-year-old’s hot form this season has caught the attention of the Premier League trio. The winger’s contract at the San Siro is set to expire in the summer of 2027, with talks over a new deal yet to progress.
The report adds that AC Milan are reluctant to sell Pulisic, but a deal could be sanctioned for a fee in the region of £48 million. A strong World Cup could result in a bidding war for the American, who has been previously labelled as “one of the best attacking players in the world” by current USMNT boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Pulisic never locked down a starting spot at Chelsea, thanks to injury problems and inconsistency. After joining Milan in 2023, he has managed to resurrect his stuttering career, and it would not be a stretch to call Pulisic one of the best attacking players in Serie A in the last couple of years.
The USA international fits perfectly into Thomas Frank’s system, offering a new dynamic in the final third while providing a constant goal threat. He could also form a strong partnership with Kudus, Odobert and Simons, giving Frank a more potent attacking setup at N17. Fans will hope that the 27-year-old chooses Tottenham over Arsenal and Man United.
Tottenham need proven difference-makers if they want to massively improve in the league, and Pulisic fits that bill. So, the new Spurs hierarchy must show ambition in the summer window and splash the required cash for the Milan ace.
