"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with their prayers and concerns on my behalf," White said in a recent post to his Instagram story. "For those who know me, ya'll know this won't stope [sic] me from spreading peace and joy to the world. Full steam ahead. I'm in great spirits and ready to make the most of this off-season."
White's message came after more information regarding the shooting came to light. Police arrived at the nightclub and found multiple 9mm and .45-caliber shell casings on the floor, with the scene having "Scantily clad females picking up dollar bills that were strewn all over the floor. Some of the females were topless and appeared to have been adult entertainers," per NBC.
The report added: "A preliminary investigation revealed a verbal altercation occurred between two groups inside a business. The victim was injured when shots were fired by an unknown suspect."

White is the second 49ers star to be shot in as many years. In 2024, star wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was shot through the chest in an attempted robbery in August 2024 by a teenager. Pearsall missed the first six games of his rookie year as he recovered from his gunshot wound.
The 27-year-old White is in his first season with the 49ers, with the New England Patriots trading the star and a 2026 seventh-round pick for San Francisco's 2026 sixth-round pick.
White played in 11 games this season, posting 16 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, and three tackles for loss.
