76ers vs. Knicks: The matchup
The host 76ers are 2.5-point betting favorites as they return to their home floor after going 3-2 on a West Coast road trip. They were last in action Monday night in Portland and fell to the Blazers (135-118), who drilled 22 of their 54 attempts from 3-point range (41%) and scored 49 points to pull away in the third quarter. With the loss, the Sixers fell to 30-23 and sixth place in the East.

After splitting back-to-back road games against the top two teams in the East, falling to the Detroit Pistons (118-80 and beating the Boston Celtics (111-89), the Knicks returned home and dropped a disappointing matchup to the last place Indiana Pacers (137-134) in overtime Tuesday night. New York had won eighth straight prior to that three-game stretch and now sits at 34-20 on the season for the No. 3 spot in the East.
