Manchester City player ratings vs Fulham: 'Brilliant' 8/10 trio and four 7/10s as Arsenal sent…

Antoine Semenyo and Nico O'Reilly shone as Man City strolled past Fulham 3-0 in the Premier League to close the gap on Arsenal in the title race. Pep Guardiola made two changes from the weekend win over Liverpool as Ruben Dias and Phil Foden came into the starting line up.

City enjoyed a bright start to the match and took the lead when Semenyo capitalised on some poor defending to divert the ball into the back of the net. It wasn't long before they doubled their lead when O'Reilly latched onto a pass from Semenyo and lifted the ball over the goalkeeper.

The Blues had a third before half-time when Erling Haaland collected the ball on the edge of the box and rifled a shot into the bottom corner to all but kill the contest. Guardiola could afford to take Haaland off at half-time with the game all but over as Fulham were unable to find a way back into the match.

Here is how we rated the City players at the Etihad Stadium.

A smart stop from Wilson as City ended any hope of a Fulham comeback. The type of solid performance you can take for granted.

A defensive rock, and he provided an aerial presence in the opposition box. Defended his box well throughout. Some neat passing too.
