FL Couple Got Engaged As Part Of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show

TAMPA, FL — A couple with Tampa ties was an integral part of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show Sunday night in San Francisco.

Dancer and model Victor Dimaren, 30, was seen popping the question to his partner Emma Eldridge, 27, after Bad Bunny handed him an engagement ring during the Grammy winner's performance at Levi’s Stadium. (Watch the big moment below.)

But viewers were left wondering if they actually were engaged.

“That’s the main thing people keep asking: ‘Was it real, was it real?’” Dimaren told the Tampa Bay Times. “My parents know, her parents know. Yes, it was real. We’re engaged.”

Both shared a few thoughts about the experience on social media.

“I still don’t have the words. Being a part of the Bad Bunny [Super Bowl] halftime show was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Witnessing such a powerful celebration of culture, love, and message alongside the love of my life … feels unreal,” Eldredge, who hails from South Africa, wrote in an Instagram post. “Sharing this moment with some of the most talented, inspiring, and incredible people along the way made the experience even more special. I'm feeling so blessed and grateful to be spending the rest of my life with my best friend. Forever thankful for this moment in time. This is only the beginning of our story. What is LIFE!!!!”

Meanwhile, Dimaren, who is Puerto Rican, wrote in an Instagram post, “Love on the biggest stage. A Super Bowl halftime I’ll never forget. Thank you Benito for the space to create magic and for making this once-in-a-lifetime moment possible. The only thing more powerful than hate is LOVE. Saying yes to forever with my best friend.”

Dimaren, who recently moved to Los Angeles for work, previously performed twice during a Super Bowl halftime show as a dancer for both The Weeknd’s show in Tampa and Kendrick Lamar’s in Los Angeles, reports said.

He was already planning his proposal when he saw a casting call for a couple who would be comfortable getting engagement during the halftime show, the Times said.
