The Seattle Seahawks celebrated their victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60 with a parade and celebration on Wednesday.
One of the leaders of the defense, Ernest Jones IV, has been outspoken about the haters, who say Seattle is not a worthy champion.
“I’mma keep it a buck, I’m probably the last person the should have gave the mic to,” Jones said to the crowd Wednesday. “I want to shout out to Jody Allen, shout out to John Schneider for making this all possible. Shout out coach Mike Macdonald for helping us get to this point.
“But also, shout out to these bad m------------ who play this game the right way.

“Not only do we have the best defense in the world, we got the best team in the world. And quite frankly, if you got anything to say about my quarterback, you got anything to say about my defense, you got anything to say about my o-line, and you got anything to say about the city of Seattle, I got two words for you:
“F--- you!”
Jones had a team-high 11 tackles in the Super Bowl. Jones came to quarterback Sam Darnold’s defense earlier in the week when receiver Puka Nacua on the rival Los Angeles Rams might have tried to take an indirect shot at Darnold.

The former No. 3 overall draft pick took the long road to the Lombardi Trophy. After years of bad play with the New York Jets, Darnold completed the ultimate career comeback, walking away with a Super Bowl victory.
Of course, the Seattle defense had a lot to do with that. They rank among the best defenses of all-time. And as Jones put it Wednesday, they are going to be a menace for years to come.
“We here to stay and we ain’t going nowhere,” he said.
