Caleb Williams, who is developing a presence in the city of Chicago, will also have a moment during this weekend’s major sporting event.
Williams is set to participate in NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. He will be one of the participants of the celebrity 3-point contest, according to WGN-TV.
Weirdly, a current NBA player, Jared McCain, is set to perform in the contest as well. McCain was just traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He’s made 37.9% from 3-point range this season.

Williams is one of the few elite athletes playing. He didn’t play high school basketball but should be able to hold his own. The other participants are:
NBA analyst and former player Richard Jefferson
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jared McCain
BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester
Infuencer/Comedian Druski
Jake from State Farm
Streamer PlaqueBoyMax
TikTok Influencer Cam Wilder
Williams has been spotted at many Chicago sporting events since the Bears’ season came to an end in the divisional round against the Los Angeles Rams.
The 24-year-old threw for a franchise record 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions this past season. The “Cardiac Bears” gave Chicago fans a thrill this season for all the comebacks they completed.

Head coach Ben Johnson signaled last month that he and Williams are on the same page. He looks forward to Williams taking some time to unwind.
“We had a good exit interview. Just my main message to him was he needs to get out of football for a little bit. He’s done a phenomenal job in terms of staying focused all year long. He put a lot of time, a lot of effort. I thought he grew up as a professional,” Johnson said at the end-of-year news conference. “It’s important for really all of us coaches, players, support staff; We get away for a little bit, [that we] hit the reset button. I think everyone needs that here at this point.”
