Ahead of their Wednesday matchup against the Washington Wizards, Kenny Atkinson revealed that Evan Mobley will come back to the lineup following the All-Star break.
Mobley is about to miss his seventh consecutive game for the Cavs. He notably sustained a left calf strain in late January.
Despite his absence, the Cavs are still rolling with a 6-1 record. The ball club became even more formidable upon the trade deadline acquisition of James Harden from the Los Angeles Clippers.
The reigning Defensive Player of the Year appeared in 41 games thus far this year. He is averaging 17.9 points, 8.8 boards, 4.0 assists and 1.9 blocks.
The Cavaliers will play the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 19 for their first game after the lengthy All-Star break.
