Gabby Barrett Gives Peek Into Homeschooling Daughter After Tpusa Performance

Gabby Barrett, one of the performers at Turning Point USA's alternative 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, is sharing a glimpse into homeschooling her daughter.

"For those that may not know, I do homeschool my 5-year-old," Barrett, 25, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, February 10, over a photo of conservative Christian-based educational posters hanging on a wall. "Here's what she's working on."

Additional slides showed some of daughter Baylah's schoolwork, including the child's writing and reading assignments.

Barrett shares Baylah, son Augustine, 3, and daughter Ivy, who turns 2 this month, with husband Cade Foehner.

Barrett's post comes days after she performed in Turning Point USA's so-called "All-American Halftime Show" alongside Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert and Lee Brice. The Sunday, February 8, show was created in protest of the NFL's Super Bowl LX halftime show, headlined by Bad Bunny.

Bad Bunny, 31, who primarily sings in Spanish, was announced as the halftime show performer in October 2025. The NFL's decision to choose the singer was met with backlash from many right-wing conservatives, pundits and Republican politicians - including President Donald Trump - who argued that Bad Bunny is not American "enough" to perform the coveted halftime show. (Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was born in Puerto Rico, an American territory, and like all Puerto Ricans is an American citizen.)

"It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence," the president wrote via Truth Social. "Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World."

Trump continued, "This ‘Show' is just a ‘slap in the face' to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day - including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven't got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD."

The alternative halftime show, which was livestreamed on Sunday, has more than 21 million views at the time of publication. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny's halftime show has more than 71 million views.

During a press conference on Thursday, February 5, Bad Bunny insisted that his halftime show would be for everyone. (The performance was an ode to Bad Bunny's Puerto Rican roots and Latino culture, featuring special guests Ricky Martin, Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, Lady Gaga and more.)

"They don't even have to learn Spanish," the Puerto Rican rapper said of the show. "It's better they learn to dance. There's no better dance than the one that comes from the heart. That's the only thing that they need to worry about."

He added, "I just want people to have fun."
