The Golden State Warriors will play their final game before the NBA All-Star Break with Wednesday night’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on ESPN.

Golden State completed a dramatic 114–113 comeback victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. The Warriors trailed by as many as 17 points but closed the game on an 11–0 run. Down one in the final seconds, Al Horford controlled the tip on a jump ball and missed his initial go-ahead attempt. He stayed with the play, however, battling on the glass and — from the floor — kicked the ball out to Gui Santos, who finished the sequence with the game-winning basket. Golden State then forced two contested looks on the final defensive scramble to seal the comeback win.
What to watch for tonight:
The biggest challenge for the Warriors tonight will be slowing down Spurs’ superstar Victor Wembanyama, who enters the matchup fresh off a dominant performance against the Los Angeles Lakers where he scored 40 points, including a stunning 37-point first half. At 7-foot-4 with perimeter skills and elite rim protection, Wembanyama impacts both ends, meaning Golden State will need disciplined defense and smart shot selection to keep him from carrying that momentum into another big night.
With their roster still navigating injuries and recent changes, Golden State has leaned on its depth and veteran presence to steady its play. Expect them to emphasize defense, ball movement, and three-point shooting as they try to generate consistent offense and avoid the scoring droughts that have surfaced at times against a long, energetic Spurs team.
