Unless the league office rescinds the foul upon review, Brooks is set to serve his one-game suspension on Feb. 19, when the Suns play their first game after the All-Star break against the San Antonio Spurs.
After his 16th technical foul, Brooks will be automatically suspended for one game for every two more technicals he receives. This will apply for the remainder of the 2025-26 regular season.
Brooks' history with technical fouls is well-documented. The forward previously reached the league's technical foul limits in the 2022-23 season with the Memphis Grizzlies and the previous 2024-25 campaign as a member of the Houston Rockets.
