PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (KCTV) - A couple of former teammates who starred with the Kansas City Chiefs are reuniting this week on the golf course for some competition.
Tight end Travis Kelce and former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith are teeing it up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this week in Pebble Beach, California. The former quarterback-tight end duo who were teammates for five seasons, are both in the event and in the same group for the first two rounds.
On Thursday and Friday, Kelce is paired with PGA Tour pro Keith Mitchell, while Smith is paired with Mackenzie Hughes.
The group tees off on the Spyglass Hill Golf Course on Thursday at 11:50 a.m. CT. Friday, they’ll play Pebble Beach and tee off at 10:45 a.m. CT.
It’s the first time that Kelce has played in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which has, in recent years, been played too close to the end of his football season for him to commit to.
With his earlier-than-usual offseason underway, Kelce also played in last week’s Pro-Am before the WM Phoenix Open, and [hit a shot so good it generated buzz on social media.](https://www.kctv5.com/2026/02/04/travis-kelces-pro-am-prowess-prompts-false-alarm-mahomes-chiefs-fans/)
