Thomas impressed many as he went off for 34 bench points to boost the Bucks' big-time road win in Orlando.

Cam Thomas is electrifying for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening.

In just his second game since joining the franchise, Thomas erupted to lead the Bucks' 116-108 win on the road against the Orlando Magic.

Coming off the bench with 25 minutes, Thomas was off the charts with 34 points. He shot 12-of-20 from the field and drained four triples.

Thomas netted 15 points in the third quarter alone and dropped the finishing touches with a clutch three-pointer in the 20.6 minutes of the game.

"It’s unbelievable. I’ve had Jamal Crawford, I’ve had Lou Williams, and now I have Cam Thomas," Rivers told reporters after the game.

"Very similar, but they’re all different in their own ways. Cam wants to do right. He wants to play well. You can see that. We’re going to give him every opportunity. The guy is a natural scorer, and you can see that. He probably forced one or two today where he over-dribbled. You live with that and you teach that to get that out of him. But overall, he was fantastic, and he competed on the other end."

Thomas' 34 points are the highest point total by a Bucks reserve in a regular-season game since 2021 (Jordan Nwora with 34).

"It means a lot just having him, having that confidence in me," Thomas said about Rivers. "In the second game, to go out there and do what I do and help the team win—I mean, that's the main objective: go out there, get wins, and see where it goes. But I’m just happy to have his confidence in the second game, to trust me down the stretch and finish.

"I want to keep building that trust and keep it going from there."
