The Las Vegas Raiders became the last NFL team to unveil their head coach for the 2026 season, having to wait until after Super Bowl LX to confirm Klint Kubiak for the role.
Kubiak, 38, served as the Seattle Seahawks' offensive coordinator and was in demand for a host of NFL head coaching jobs. He confirmed he would be taking the Las Vegas head coaching gig in a post-game interview after Seattle's win.

"His passion for speaking on all things football got me excited working with him," Kubiak said, going so far as to say Brady's presence was "one of the main draws to come here."

“What I’m excited about is that we really have different offensive backgrounds — how we can pull ideas from each other,” Kubiak explained.
“But, obviously, he’s the greatest that’s ever done it. In the interview process, just the passion that he spoke with on all things football got me excited about the opportunity to work with him.”
Kubiak also expects to keep close in touch with Brady during the season, much like 2025 Raiders coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly reportedly did.
"He made the mistake of giving me his cell phone number, so he might wish he never did that because I’m going to be calling him a lot," Kubiak quipped.

While many have tabbed Brady's involvement with the Raiders as a conflict of interest with his FOX NFL broadcasting gig, a poll from The Athletic revealed that over 84 percent of players didn't mind.
Kubiak is the son of Super Bowl-winning coach Gary Kubiak, whose 2015 Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots en route to that year's title.

Kubiak served as an offensive assistant under his dad in Denver from 2016 to 2018 before leaving for Minnesota. He was the Vikings' offensive coordinator in 2021 before bouncing around, leading the New Orleans Saints' offensive coordinator gig in 2024.
Kubiak bolted for the vacant Seahawks gig in 2025 and transformed receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba into the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in a formidable Seattle offense led by veteran free-agent quarterback Sam Darnold.
Next year, the Raiders coach can expect to work with No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza under center.
