Singer and rapper Micah Palace is going viral after claiming that he is supposedly Bad Bunny's nephew. In his latest video, Micah reacted to the Puerto Rican singer's Super Bowl halftime performance, saying he loved it. Then, he shared a snippet of his own song, which he would have performed at the Super Bowl.
Micah Palace is not related to Bad Bunny as he is not the artist's nephew. He jokes about being Benito's nephew due to their shared Latino roots and the similar genre of music they make.
Micah is a Latino artist with Argentinean roots. He became famous after appearing in the 20th season of America's Got Talent. Palace is from Connecticut, and he was Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer act.
The rapper ended up in the top ten of the show before getting eliminated. Before joining the reality show, Micah uploaded his original music on YouTube and Spotify channels.
On the other hand, Bad Bunny has two younger brothers, Bernie and Bysael. Bernie Martinez Ocasio is a model who made his runway debut in the Willy Chavarria SS24 show at New York Fashion Week in 2023. He is currently under Next Management.
Bysael is pursuing baseball as he graduated from Florida's Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy in 2020. He then entered Monroe College in New York City. According to the university's website, Ocasio is on the JV baseball team. The brothers have joined Bad Bunny in his tours and award shows.
Bad Bunny previously said that he prefers to keep his social circle small
The 31-year-old artist said in a 2022 interview with GQ magazine that after becoming famous, many artists seemingly change their social circles. He said that they go through people and sometimes even spend more time with people who bring in more value or have money.
Benito shared that he purposefully kept his circle the same and maintained a strong bond with family. The singer said that he always contacts his family when he's away from them.
"Many artists become famous, and they suddenly start to change their circle of people, and then people start to filter through... I continue to surround myself with the same people. I keep my same circle. I’m always in contact with my family, even when I can't see them," Ocasio said.
Bad Bunny's creative director, Janthony Olivares, agreed and told the interviewer that the Puerto Rican singer is the most "family-oriented person" he had seen.
