Chelsea move sign Winger–Blues target Premier League ready–Chelsea to make concrete offer for defender

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest that we think you guys may have missed….

Chelsea have reportedly made an enquiry to sign Ajax and Belgium protege Mika Godts, and beat off their rivals for the gifted young star that is tipped to be the next Eden Hazard.

The 2005-born attacker has been one of the revelations of the 2025-26 Eredivisie season, having a direct hand in 17 goals in just 19 appearances in the Dutch top flight this term – 10 of his own and seven assists.

Godts – who has drawn comparisons with Hazard thanks to his ‘electrifying’ playstyle – is under contract with Ajax until the summer of 2029, but the report adds that offers between £13m and £17m will be seriously considered this summer.

And a left-wing upgrade is seen as a priority for many CHELSEA fans this coming summer, with Voetbal International claiming that Chelsea have made an enquiry to sign Ajax and Belgium protege Mika Godts.

Godts’s agent has also told Sporza that he expects his client to be the next “mega-transfer” out of Amsterdam, saying: “Leaving Ajax [in January] was absolutely out of the question.

“He has a major goal: to play at least 100 matches [currently has 96]. He wants to be part of that club, so a transfer was out of the question anyway.

“Together with Youri Baas, Godts should be Ajax’s next mega-transfer. The financial need to sell has disappeared in Amsterdam, but they won’t refuse a significant amount.”

Godts is certainly a talent that all the big clubs are very much interested in signing, but even though he could be a very gifted signing, we dont need anymore talents at the club and we need to board to add some experience to the squad.

ALVAREZ PREMIER LEAGUE READY

Former Blues star Jason Cundy has opened up and claimed that Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez ‘is the type of player’ that he would like Chelsea to sign, amid speculation the club are making moves to get a transfer deal done.

Over the past few weeks, it is no secret that CHELSEA have been heavily linked with a move for Julian Alvarez ever since news broke that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid would be open to letting the little striker leave the club during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old contributed 20 Premier League goals during his Etihad spell before Atlético secured his signature for a massive £82 million in 2024, and he’s since bagged 40 goals and 13 assists across 89 appearances, though recent form has dipped with just one goal in his last 13 outings across all competitions.

What’s more, Alvarez is said to be open to the prospect of returning to England as Chelsea eye a move.

Now, amid all the speculation and rumours, Cundy told talkSPORT’s Inside Chelsea show. “We often talk about an off the peg type of player, he fits that type of player that we need.

“That is the type of player I’d like us to sign more of. He’s Premier League ready. You’re not going to be waiting for someone to adapt to the Premier League.

“There’s a lot to like about him, but it’s a lot of money.”

There will be alot or rumours between now and the end of the season, but Alvarez is one player that could make a real difference to that CHELSEA attack, even if he does come with a massive high asking price and a big wage demand.

So if we do manage to bring him back to the Premier League, he would be a real statement signing by the board that is for sure.

CHELSEA TO MAKE SENESI OFFER

Chelsea are one of the clubs in the picture to sign AFC Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi in the summer, as they seek to sign an alternative after missing out on top transfer target Jeremy Jacquet in the January window.

The rumours were constant about whether or not he would join Chelsea, but then Premier League rivals Liverpool swooped in, opened talks with the player and his club, and agreed to bring him to England at the end of the summer for a massive fee of £60 million.

That means that CHELSEA have been looking at alternatives for Jacquet, and now it has been claimed Tutto Juve that Chelsea are one of the clubs that are reportedly ready to offer Senesi a free move to Stamford Bridge.

Senesi won’t renew his contract with Bournemouth this season and is looking to make that step up in the game, knowing that Chelsea, Juventus and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in offering him a contract.

IcChelseanews Says…

At 28-years of age, Senesi is the kind of player that the CHELSEA board do not like to buy, as he cannot agree one of those massive long-term contracts, but he is the right kind of player to sign.

Senesi is proven in the Premier League, mature enough to be a leader at the back for Chelsea and big enough to handle the best strikers in the game, and the fact he could be arriving on a free deal would make sense for the Blues.

So it will be interesting to see how this plays out as the defender could be a great signing.
