Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard have been included in the squad travelling for the Brentford game today, according to Hand of Arsenal.

However, it remains to be seen whether they will be included in the official matchday squad later this evening.

Saka had been aiming to return for the game against Tottenham Hotspur on February 22, but he has recovered well and is pushing to be included today.

The England international has not played since the defeat to Manchester United, missing the last four games.

Odegaard has missed the last two games while Trossard featured against Sunderland last time out before going off.

The Belgian and Saka could both be involved against the Bees, while the Arsenal captain will also be desperate to make a return tonight.

However, Max Dowman and Mikel Merino remain on the sidelines, with the Spaniard likely to spend months out.

The Gunners have been in fine form all season and will have to win tonight to restore their six-point lead over Manchester City after their closest challengers won on Tuesday night.

Brentford will be a tough nut to crack but Arsenal will fancy their chances of picking up all three points despite some injury concerns.

There are 13 games standing between the Gunners and a first league title since 2004, and they have to treat each of them as finals.
