The Boston Celtics closed out their final game before the All-Star break with a 124-105 win over the Chicago Bulls at TD Garden on Wednesday.
Boston jumped out early, built a big halftime lead, and never allowed Chicago to get back into the game.
For Nikola Vucevic, Wednesday's matchup carried extra meaning. It was his first game against Chicago since the trade that sent him to Boston, and he didn't hold back when asked what excites him most about joining the Celtics.
"Having a chance to win big, it's something I've been missing in my career," Vucevic said in a post-game comment.

Vucevic's words reflect his career so far. Over 14 NBA seasons with Orlando and Chicago, he has played just 16 playoff games, and a legitimate championship opportunity has been missing. Joining Boston gives him a new platform to compete at the highest level.
The Celtics head into the All-Star break with a 35-19 record, holding second place in the Eastern Conference.
