Drake Maye's wife has given fans a peek behind the curtain on how the New England Patriots quarterback is feeling after his silence following their Super Bowl defeat.

The Patriots and Maye were dominated by the Seattle Seahawks, with Maye committing three turnovers including throwing a pick-six and another interception that sealed the loss. The 23-year-old had a remarkable regular season, just missing out to Matt Stafford on winning the MVP award before struggling in the postseason, leading to questions being asked.

He has since remained silent on social media, despite regularly being active on his account.

However, his wife has posted while sending a message to Patriots fans after their incredible season, looking forward to what they hope will be coming.

Ann Michael Maye wrote: "Not how we wanted it to end but still thanking God for this incredible season. We are blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people, who made this season what it was. This is only the beginning!!"

Ann posted multiple pictures of the 2025 season, in which New England shocked the league winning 14 games after just 4 victories a year ago.

Maye was clearly devastated to lose the game, in a tough outing for the quarterback while being sacked six times and throwing two interceptions.

Speaking after the loss, he said: "If you make [the plays], you're out there celebrating. If you don't, you're sitting here crying at a podium.

"It starts with me. I just have to be better with the football — make better decisions, make better throws... I'd like to go back to the beginning and redo it.

"The biggest thing about about life — you're going to have times like this — it's how you bounce back. I think all those guys in our locker room, we're gonna use this as fuel.

"It's going to hurt and sting for a while. But that's what you sign up for so that's what you get."

Drake married Ann this past June, being together since their high school days with her moving to the Boston-area with him after being drafted by the Patriots in 2024.

New England will hope to have a strong free agency and NFL Draft class, where they'll look to bolster their offensive line to give Maye the chance to compete once again in 2026.
