Tottenham 20th, Arsenal only 6th - Premier League table in 2026 revealed

Tottenham Hotspur have been in horrific form in 2026. Spurs started the season off decently as they appeared to have what it takes to compete at the top of the table once again under Thomas Frank.

However, the wheels soon fell off, and they have been plummeting down the table in recent months. After going winless in their opening eight league matches to start 2026, Frank was relieved of his duties and Spurs began the search for his replacement.

Tottenham's struggles in recent weeks have been well documented, but which teams other than Spurs have struggled since the turn of the year? And which sides are thriving?

The Premier League table in 2026 has been revealed, and it makes for interesting viewing.

No team has picked up fewer points than Spurs so far in 2026. They are the only team in England's top tier still searching for a win as we approach the end of February, with four draws and four losses from their opening 8 matches.

Burnley have been seriously struggling in their return to England's top flight and look nailed on for relegation. Their 3-2 victory away at Crystal Palace, though, has ended their long wait for a win and given Scott Parker's side hope going forward.

Speaking of Palace, they have been in a dismal run of form lately. Relegation is now a possibility with the club floundering under Oliver Glasner.

Wolves and Brighton have also picked up six points so far in 2026. The former look destined for relegation despite a slight upturn in form, while Brighton are slipping down the table after a decent first half of the campaign.

Sunderland and Fulham have both accrued eight points so far in 2026. The former were flying during the first half of the season but they were without many of their players for some time due to the Africa Cup of Nations. Their form has dipped since, but they look to have done enough to comfortably survive the drop.

Nottingham Forest and Everton both have identical records in 2026, picking up two wins, three draws and two losses from their seven matches. Forest are now searching for their fourth manager of the season after parting ways with Sean Dyche.

Newcastle United also find themselves in the bottom half this year after picking up 10 points from their eight matches. Eddie Howe's position could soon come under threat if their struggles continue.

Leeds United have spent the vast majority of this season just above the relegation zone. Their good form in recent weeks has seen the threat of relegation ease slightly, but they still have work to do.

West Ham United's situation is a lot more precarious. They looked down and out at one point this season, but they have picked up a number of positive results in recent weeks. Despite their 10 points in 2026, they are still in the drop zone, three points behind Forest.

Liverpool were expected to make it back-to-back Premier League titles this season and that feeling grew even stronger when they won all five of their opening games of the season. However, their form took a nosedive and they have still not recovered. They've won just twice from their opening eight league matches in 2026.

Two clubs fighting at the top of the table have both picked up 11 points so far this calendar year: Aston Villa and Arsenal. Unai Emery's title challenge has taken a hit this year after winning just three of their seven matches. League leaders Arsenal have also won three games so far in 2026, but they have only played fewer games than everyone else.

Brentford have been the surprise package this season under Mark Andrews. They are currently fighting for a European berth after picking up 13 points in 2026, the same amount as Manchester City, who are bidding to regain the title.

Bournemouth have accrued 14 points this year, the same amount as Chelsea, who have improved after making the curious decision to replace Enzo Maresca with Liam Rosenior.

No team has picked up more points than Manchester United in 2026. They are the only team to go unbeaten so far this year as they thrive under interim boss, Michael Carrick. Whether they can keep it up with the Englishman at the helm remains to be seen, but he is so far showing he has what it takes to be given the role on a permanent basis.
