Chelsea are eyeing up a potential move to sign Marseille superstar Mason Greenwood during the summer transfer window.
During the January transfer window, there was alot of transfer talk that Cole Palmer could be one of the players that decides he wants to leave CHELSEA at the end of the season after becoming unhappy with all the manager changes at the club.
However – the talk that he could still be leaving this coming summer window has started to creep back into the media, despite the fact he has played down those reports, with many reports suggesting that a move to Manchester United could be on the cards
That has led to all sorts of reports in the media about the possible players that Chelsea could look to sign at the end of the season, and according to reports by Fichajes in Spain, Marseille striker Mason Greenwood is on the radar of both Liverpool and Chelsea. Both clubs are said to be ‘ready’ to pay £78m ($106m) for the former Manchester United forward.
The 24-year-old registered 22 goals in his debut campaign and has already matched that return this term, while also recording eight assists. He has once again been the standout performer for Ligue 1 giants – who have been gracing the Champions League this season.
IcChelseanews Says…
Greenwood would like to stay away from the British media, from the English fans that will drive him crazy for his time at Manchester United, it may not be the best idea to come back to the Premier League that is for sure, and to be honest, a move to CHELSEA would not make him any better than he is.
The way he likes to play, the way Liam Rosenior likes to play, we are sure that he will struggle to score the 20-goals a season that he is right now
