Tom Brady never seems to be out of the headlines when it comes to the NFL. The legendary quarterback clashed with Logan Paul on Wednesday as the two are set to face off in the “Fanatics Flag Football Classic” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Brady and Paul first clashed over the reality of NFL athleticism during a viral appearance on Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast. Brady acknowledged Paul’s athletic ability, but was quick to draw a line between entertainment and the elite competition of the gridiron.

“I’m actually a little worried for you because I know for me… you’re a good athlete, but these guys are another level,” Brady said during the exchange.
Paul, who previously claimed he “is the level,” pushed back by citing his history as an All-State linebacker who rushed for 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns his senior year.
But for Brady, a man with seven Super Bowl rings, the past is secondary to the upcoming game on March 21st.
“Who gives a s***? You know what matters? This game on March 21st in Saudi,” Brady said. “I’m glad you’re finally going to participate in a competition that matters.”
The audacity of the exchange left Paul stunned, later remarking that Brady was “insane” for treating a flag football game with the gravity of the Pro Bowl. Brady, however, insisted the event would be “way better” than that.
In a subsequent thread, Brady doubled down on his earlier banter with Paul and tweeted: “I was having a great morning and now I’m mad”

Rob Gronkowski speaks out on Tom Brady partnership
Former tight end Rob Gronkowski and his long-time teammate, Tom Brady, will reunite for a non-contact flag football competition, set to air on the Fox network.
The invitation came during a recent gathering where Brady asked if his former teammate would be interested in playing.
“Actually it was a couple weeks ago when we were at an event and Tom’s like ‘Hey would you want to play in a football game?'” Gronkowski shared. “I was like ‘What type of football game?’ He’s like ‘Flag football.’ I was like ‘Actually I love flag football’”.
For Gronkowski, this trip to Saudi Arabia is about more than just a televised exhibition. Despite his veteran status, he knows the competition will be fierce, especially with younger players in the mix.
“I wouldn’t say I’m going to maybe you know be at the highest level possible but I want to at least go out there and make some catches and be able to compete,” he said. “Because there’s probably going to be some young bucks in their 20s”.
While he has high praise for current stars like Brock Bowers and Maxx Crosby, his focus remains on bringing his signature style to a global stage.
