Hall of Famer slams critics of this NFL dynasty: ‘Idiots’

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and Fox Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw is not a fan of media members going after the Kansas City Chiefs after their disappointing 2025 season.

Bradshaw, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, made an appearance on Arkansas station 103.7 The Buzz’s “Morning Mayhem” show on Monday. Bradshaw went on a rant criticizing a story he saw about Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and Chiefs.

“I was reading this morning…Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs and now he’s lost it,” Bradshaw said. “I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me? He went to five Super Bowls in six years and they’re going, has he lost? What? I’ll tell you what he lost. He lost a lot of players to injury. I Critics are just idiots. They have no idea what they’re talking about.”

The Chiefs ended last season with a 6-11 record and finished third in the AFC West. The Broncos, also in the AFC West wound up winning the division and eventually made it to the NFC championship game.

Beyond the Chiefs, Bradshaw also weighed in on the broader NFL landscape. Regarding the NFL season overall, Bradshaw said that he was happy to see the Seattle Seahawks win because it was a new team. Bradshaw said the discussion about the Super Bowl had been stale in terms of the teams that were contending for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

“I get tired of the same old…Well, it’s Baltimore (Ravens), Buffalo (Bills), Denver (Broncos), (Los Angeles) Rams and (San Francisco) 49ers,” Bradshaw said. “I thought the Seattle story was a really good story. It was good to see defense come back and dominate because that’s kind of the era that I grew up in the NFL. Sam Darnold just never got any respect. He’s Rodney Dangerfield’s ‘I get no respect, so it was good. I was happy for him.”
