Brentford vs Arsenal LIVE: Premier League latest score and confirmed lineups

Arsenal will look to restore their six-point lead over Manchester City when they visit Brentford in the Premier League this evening.

City put the pressure back on Mikel Arteta’s side with a convincing 3-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday evening.

But the Gunners will head to west London full of confidence after impressive wins against Leeds and Sunderland in recent weeks.

Arteta will be hoping to call upon captain Martin Odegaard after his two-game absence from the side, but Arsenal are expected to be without Kai Havertz after he picked up a fresh muscle injury.

Early Arsenal team news

Ben Fleming

Mikel Arteta was coy on the fitness of Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard in his pre-match press conference, but Arsenal will hope to have one, if not all three involved tonight.

We do know that Mikel Merino will miss out, while reports suggest that Kai Havertz will also be unavailable, having picked up a fresh muscular injury.
