The team announced that Giannis is continuing to rehab his right calf strain and will not play in this weekend’s All-Star Game, but he will attend to help coach the All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday and cheer on his Team World teammates during the All-Star Game on Sunday.
Giannis suffered a right calf strain on Jan. 23 in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. At the time, he estimated he would be sidelined for 4–6 weeks.
This season, the 31-year-old is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists over 30 games.
