As we reach the endgame of the 2025/26 Premier League season, we have seen some interesting movements in the manager department.
Nottingham Forest have recently sacked Sean Dyche, with Tottenham giving Thomas Frank the boot a few days prior – who is next on the chopping block?
Marco Silva
Fulham are nowhere near a relegation fight, but having lost their last three Premier League games, certain sections of the Cottagers fanbase have begun to question Silva’s position.
They picked up a famous win over local rivals Chelsea back in January, but Fulham have had little to shout about since then.
Most notably, they were beaten at home by Everton in the last few weeks – a concerning result under any circumstances.
Arne Slot
We’re beating a dead horse here, but it needs to be repeated – Arne Slot has overseen a dramatic decline at Liverpool during the 2025/26 season. Poor recruitment, disorganised playing staff and raptures between himself and the squad have put the Dutchman in a very difficult position.
After a dominant campaign that saw them win the Premier League title last season, Liverpool are now 6th in the league table and are 17 points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Such a dramatic fall – which has included some truly ignominious results along the way – has led for several Liverpool fans to call for Slot’s head before the end of the season.
Scott Parker
In their last few games, Burnley have looked totally beaten. Scott Parker has cut a similar figure – it is surprising that the Clarets have not opted for a change in management yet, given their current predicament.
Burnley haven’t won a game in England’s top division since October, when they saw off bottom club Wolves away. In the games that followed, they picked up a grand total of five points.
BetVictor are offering odds of 3/1 for Parker to be the next sacked manager in the Premier League – we’re just wondering what Burnley are waiting for.
Oliver Glasner
Like Slot, Oliver Glasner has also seen his club suffer a massive nosedive in the last few months. At the end of last season, Crystal Palace won the FA Cup – now, they are embroiled in a relegation scrap.
Glasner is due to leave Palace before the end of the season and has just picked up a big win over bitter rivals Brighton. This might keep himself safe for the time being – but BetVictor are still offering odds of 6/1 for to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.
We don’t necessarily agree with this – we feel it would be odd for Palace to sack Glasner at this stage, even in the face of dreadful form.
Fabian Hurzeler
Fabian Hurzeler looked like one of the Premier League’s most promising young coaches a few months ago – now, he is facing down the barrel of relegation after winning just one of his last six Premier League games.
There is still plenty of leeway between Brighton and the bottom three, but their recent form is nonetheless alarming for Seagulls supporters. In particular, Hurzeler’s substitutions have been criticised – Brighton fans have accused him of costing them points because of his haphazard subs.
Hurzeler’s relative inexperience is beginning to catch up with him. He likes to over-complicate his approach mid-game – something that has brought few, if any, dividends to his side.
