The 2025-2026 NFL season officially came to its conclusion with the Seattle Seahawks defeating the New England Patriots 29-13 to become Super Bowl champions. The party, however, is still going on for the Seahawks, and the team had its parade on Wednesday. And one Baltimore Ravens player made time to check out the festivities in person.
Ravens All-Pro defensive back Marlon Humphrey has been a staple of theteam’s defense since hewas drafted in the first round of the 2017 draft. However, he is entering into the final year of his contract, and rumors have swirled thatHumphrey’s time as a Raven may be coming to a close.
On Wednesday, Humphreydidn’t endear himself to Ravens fans when heshowed up at the Seahawks championship parade.
Fans Outraged
Marlon Humphrey is no stranger to the Ravens fans being upset with him over off-field activities. Earlier this season, fans were mad at Humphrey followingremarks made on his podcast, “The Marlon Humphrey Show,”following a loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
Humphrey was once again on the receiving end of Ravensfans’ ire when he posted on his Instagram story that he was at the Seahawks Super Bowl parade. One Twitter fan could not believe what they were witnessing.
“Marlon Humphreycan’t be right in the head … I neverseen another NFL player in my 31 years of living go celebrate anotherteam SB parade. Especially during a timewhere youmaybe cut by your current team.”
Another fan remarked how a portion of the Ravens fan base isoverHumphrey’s antics.
“I personallydon’t give a shit that he was at the parade, but you can tellmajority of theRaven fanbase is very done with Marlon Humphrey.”
Not all fans were upset with Humphrey, though, as one fanattributed the backlash to Humphreybeing disliked overall.
“People dislike Marlon overall. That’s the only reason this matters. Grown man traveling where he want to so what.”
Whether the latest antics will have any impact onHumphrey’s future is yet to be determined, but it is not a guarantee that Humphrey is a Raven next season anyway.
Ravens Future in Doubt
Following theRavens’ season-ending, heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Marlon Humphrey acknowledged the possibility that he had played his last game with the Ravens. Ryan Mink of Ravens.com, in his January 6 article, wrote aboutHumphrey’s comments postgame.
“There could be a lot of change. Obviously, this is a business,”Humphrey said. “I can really only speak for myself; I just wait and see ifI’m part of the plans going forward or ifI’m not.”
Humphrey acknowledged that this season, hedidn’t play up to his standard.
“My standard of play this year just was not how I wanted, Humphrey said. “I’ve never been a guy to give up explosive passes like that.”
