Chelsea announce attacker has signed–Blues green light sign£80M star–Chelsea wants£65M star

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and transfer gossip that you may have missed from icchelseanews….

The likes of Chelsea are on alert amid reports that AC Milan are open to cashing in on Rafael Leao when the summer transfer window opens up in just a few months time.

There has been more players leave the club than come in, and with only a few days left of the transfer window left, CHELSEA are still working hard on getting some of the fringe players in the side out of the club before the deadline closes on Monday.

But there is already talk about the type of players that Chelsea could look to sign at the end of the season, and there has already been some names linked with the club that could get many Blues fans excited.

According to the Daily Mail, CHELSEA are looking to strengthen on the left wing and the Portugal international has been cited as a potential option with a price tag of around £80million.

Leao is one of the most highly-prized wingers in European football, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal just three clubs that have been keeping a close eye on him over the past few seasons.

The reports claim that Milan are looking to cash in on Leao at the end of the season if order to raise some funds and freshen up the side in order to start really competing for that Seria A title and Champions League crown, and £80 million would go along way into freshening up the side.

Leao is world class and if there is a chance to get a deal done, i would love to see him brought to the club as i believe there is space for a winger like him.

CHELSEA WANTS NDIAYE

Chelsea are the latest side to show an interest in trying to sign Everton star Iliman Ndiaye, although he may cost upwards of £60 million to acquire in the summer.

CHELSEA have been buying some quality players over the past couple of transfer windows, and all their hard work in the market has paid off, as the Blues are on course to get another season on Champions League football.

But there are a few players in the side that are probably no longer needed by Liam Rosenior, and there has been alot of speculation and rumours in the media about stars that could be let go in the upcoming transfer window.

The Londoners boosted their title aspirations by investing heavily last summer, strengthening their forward line by signing Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, but now according to a report from Caught Offside, Chelsea remain keen on strengthening their forward options, and they have now entered the race to sign Everton star Iliman Ndiaye.

But the reports says that they will be in for a transfer battle to sign the Everton star with Tottenham Hotspur, CHELSEA and Manchester United also keen on trying to prise him away from the Toffees when the transfer window opens.

Not only that, but the Toffees are set to hold out for a huge transfer fee, with David Moyes’ side looking to receive €65m – €75m (£57m – £65m), so the Gunners will have to spend big to get a deal done

Rosenior doesnt need to sign players that will demand to start every week, so adding someone like Ndiaye to the side in order to turn him into a big star kind of makes sense for his plan.

However – spending that much on a player that has done nothing in the game, will it really be worth the spending?

EBHO SIGNS UP

Chelsea Football Club has taken another stride in strengthening its burgeoning youth setup by securing Academy defender Riley Ebho, who has now officially signed his first professional contract with the Blues.

Ebho’s journey to Stamford Bridge reflects CHELSEA ’s increasingly proactive strategy of investing in promising young talent. After leaving the Hammers, the defender swiftly integrated into Chelsea’s Under-18 side, establishing himself as a regular starter in both the Premier League U18 and FA Youth Cup competitions this season. His rapid adaptation to a new environment has not gone unnoticed, with the club’s coaching staff praising his maturity and potential since his arrival.

The defender has already gained valuable experience beyond the Under-18 level. Ebho made his debut for the Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup, showcasing his readiness to test himself against older and more physically mature opposition — a key step in the development pathway honed by Chelsea’s Academy structure.

Though still in the formative stages of his career, his involvement with England youth teams underscores the potential for future international recognition.

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘Ebho, 17, officially joined the Blues as a scholar from West Ham United in October and has established himself as a regular in our Under-18s side.

‘He has featured in the Under-18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup this season, while making his Under-21s debut in the Premier League International Cup last month.

‘Congratulations, Riley.’

For CHELSEA fans, the signing represents another exciting chapter in a longer-term project focused on integrating homegrown and academy talent into the club’s broader footballing philosophy.

Under the current structure, Chelsea has made youth development a priority, with several young players making the step up to train or compete at higher levels in recent seasons. Ebho’s progression will be closely watched by supporters and pundits alike as he continues his journey through the ranks at Cobham.

While it’s too soon to predict how far Riley Ebho might go, the defender’s new contract lays a solid foundation.

Chelsea’s commitment to nurturing his talent could see him evolve into a key part of the club’s future — potentially even challenging for first-team involvement as he gains experience and hones his craft in competitive youth and professional environments
