As Chelsea’s stars continue to push to earn a place at the upcoming World Cup, one of the club’s most successful recent managers is already definitely going to be there.
Thomas Tuchel is the England manager, and will be looking to Stamford Bridge for a number of players who could make an impact on his squad in the United States.
Reece James is on course to be the starting right-back, while Cole Palmer, Trevoh Chalobah and Liam Delap are among those hoping they can earn a place in the squad.

Thomas Tuchel’s new England deal is great news for Chelsea
This is great news for Chelsea, even though there is no chance he reignites his relationship with Todd Boehly and co. He was sacked just months after the new owners took over.
Blues supporters will be well aware of his qualities as a manager, and something they will have been desperate for their rivals to not be handed.
At this moment in time, both Manchester United and Tottenham are on the hunt for a new permanent manager who can help turn their club’s fortunes around in the long run.
It would be a sensational hire for either side to make the former Chelsea boss their new manager, however his new England contract will see him unavailable for a new challenge just yet.

Liam Rosenior ready to make mark as Chelsea manager
There is a large portion of the Chelsea fanbase who would take Tuchel back in a heartbeat, however the Blues’ future is in the hands of Liam Rosenior.
It is the English manager’s first Premier League job, with him undefeated in the league as well as Champions League so far since taking over.
It will take a lot to match the accolades of Tuchel at Stamford Bridge, with his greatest achievement being winning the Champions League in 2021.
It is so far unclear who will take over at Old Trafford or the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, but Chelsea fans should be delighted it isn’t going to be the England boss after his new deal.
