Apple Music has launched a new instalment of its iconic Shot on iPhone series, spotlighting fans’ emotional reactions to Bad Bunny’s landmark halftime performance - a cultural moment that elevated Latin representation on one of the world’s biggest stages.
The performance marked a breakthrough for mainstream entertainment, celebrating identity, heritage and community while underscoring music’s ability to transcend borders.
Shot on iPhone 17 Pro, the film brings together 23 photographers and cinematographers who documented audiences across 15 locations in 11 time zones, from Puerto Rico to Kampala. Soundtracked by Bad Bunny’s ‘DtMF (DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS)’ (‘I Should Have Taken More Photos’), the piece captures intimate, unfiltered reactions from San Francisco, Mexico City, São Paulo, Madrid, Seoul, Tokyo and beyond - stitching together a global portrait of shared pride and joy.
At the heart of the project is iPhone 17 Pro’s most advanced camera system yet. Three 48MP Fusion cameras - Main, Ultra Wide and a new Telephoto - deliver the equivalent of eight lenses, including the longest optical-quality zoom ever on iPhone at 8x. An 18MP Center Stage front camera enhances selfies, while Dual Capture enables simultaneous front and rear recording. Pro-level video tools such as ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2 and genlock further integrate iPhone into productions of every scale.
The result is a cinematic film that captures authentic, real-time emotion without intrusion - demonstrating how powerful storytelling can unfold in the palm of your hand.
With this latest release, Apple Music reinforces its commitment to championing culture as a unifying force, amplifying the voices and communities who saw themselves reflected in a defining global moment.
The film launched across Apple and Apple Music Instagram channels, alongside additional social platforms.
