Manchester City will assess Erling Haaland's injury today ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie with Salford City this weekend. The striker was replaced at half time in City's Premier League win over Fulham in midweek and while the issue isn't serious, Pep Guardiola is unlikely to take any risks with the Norwegian.
The Blues will be huge favourites to beat League Two Salford, who they thrashed 8-0 in this competition last season, and with no midweek match next week there is an opportunity to rest Haaland.
"Erling is not 100 per cent," said Guardiola. "We will see today how he feels. It is not a big issue, the doctor said to me, but he had some disturbance during the game and that's why he didn't play in the second half."

City are competing on four fronts and having progressed straight to the last-16 of the Champions League, the Blues are without a midweek fixture for the next fortnight. That will give Guardiola the chance to recover some of his injured players while not taking risks with others.
Savinho, Jeremy Doku, Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol are all currently sidelined but only the latter is a long-term absentee. John Stones returned to the City squad for the first time since the win over Leeds in December when he made the bench against Fulham.
The England international could come in from the start against Salford but Guardiola will not rush the 31-year-old back given his injury issues over the past 18 months.
The City boss added: "Last season too (was a difficult campaign for him). Fortunately, it is a long two months. The last game he played was against Leeds. He has already made two or three training sessions and we will see tomorrow if he plays or how many minutes he plays."
