Report: Chelsea’s Pedro Neto stance revealed admit rumours of summer exit

Chelsea have no desire to cash in on Pedro Neto despite the winger struggling for form in recent weeks according to reports.

Neto joined Chelsea from Wolves in the summer of 2024 in a deal worth an initial £51.4m, and has largely made a positive impact.

The Portugal international has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 37 appearances in all competitions this season.

Pedro Neto happy at Chelsea

However, despite producing decent numbers from a goal contributions point of view, Neto hasn’t been in good form for arguably the last two months.

Neto really struggled in the game against Wolves, and there has been talk over a potential exit in the summer with Geovany Quenda arriving at the end of the season.

Clubs have been linked recently, but it’s understood Atletico Madrid’s reported interest in Neto is wide of the mark.

Quite what will happen with Neto in the summer remains to be seen, but TEAMtalk have reported the Portuguese is happy at Chelsea.

The report adds Chelsea are in no rush to move Neto on, and have no desire to cash in on him, with reports he could be for sale branded as inaccurate.

The 25-year-old does need to improve his form and he’s not registered a goal contribution in his last ten league games, which simply isn’t good enough.

Chelsea looking for another attacker this summer

Despite signing five attackers last summer, and with both Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving at the end of the season, Chelsea are believed to be still be looking for another attacker.

Chelsea could certainly do with better cover for Cole Palmer, whilst they could also do with getting a starting quality left winger.

Whether the Blues get either remains to be seen, but the squad depth in the attacking areas so far this season simply hasn’t been good enough.
