The moment came during the Golden State Warriors matchup against the San Antonio Spurs right before the All-Star break. Green spent the night battling with Victor Wembanyama, with both players fighting for position in the paint, setting hard screens, and matching physical defense possession after possession.
During one sequence, fans on social media focused on the broadcast commentary. A user on Threads suggested Burke highlighted the contact Wembanyama absorbed while not mentioning similar physical play against Green. Green saw the post and responded directly.
"She will always ignore things happening to me and only half mention the good," Green wrote on Threads per Warriors World. "And take shots when they are available. Been that way for a while."
This is not the first time Green and Burke have been part of a public exchange. During a 2025 playoff broadcast, Burke questioned whether Green gets extra room from officials when arguing calls.
The Warriors head into the All-Star break with a 29-26 record, sitting eighth in the Western Conference.
