It’s back: FA Cup action continues

Chelsea Football Newsletter

The 2025-26 FA Cup is in full swing, with the competition’s fourth round taking place this weekend.

There are 13 teams from the Premier League involved across the 16 matches to be held between Friday and Monday, a slate of fixtures that begins with Chelsea’s trip to Hull City and and all-Championship battle of Wrexham against Ipswich Town.

Saturday brings two top-flight clashes, Aston Villa vs Newcastle and Liverpool vs Brighton, with West Ham travelling to Burton Albion, Manchester City hosting Salford City and Burnley welcoming Mansfield Town among the earlier kick-offs.

That’s followed by a Sunday selection which sees Leeds, Wolves, Fulham and Sunderland all visiting lower league opposition in Birmingham City, Grimsby Town, Stoke City and Oxford United, respectively, before Arsenal’s home tie with Wigan Athletic headlines the day.

Concluding the fourth round action, meanwhile, is Brentford’s visit to Macclesfield.

The Silkmen, members of the National League North and the lowest-ranked team remaining in this year’s cup, face top-flight opponents for the second successive round after they sensationally dumped out holders Crystal Palace in January.
