Arsenal hold talks over deal to sign 'world-class' Serie A forward amid Eze concerns - report

Arsenal have held talks with AC Milan star Christian Pulisic about a summer move to bring him back to London, according to TEAMtalk.

The Gunners have had a magnificent season so far and currently sit four points clear at the top of the Premier League, while they are also still in contention to win the FA Cup, Champions League, and are in the final of the Carabao Cup.

But despite their successes this season, Mikel Arteta is already looking at potential options to strengthen his squad for next year, and a familiar face to the Premier League has emerged as someone they could now target.

Christian Pulisic

Pulisic, who has been described as 'world-class', has been a regular at AC Milan since joining the club in 2023, scoring an impressive 42 goals in 120 appearances for the club. Prior to that he spent four season in London with Chelsea, but a lot of his time was marred by injury problems.

Despite his outstanding form in Italy so far though, there have been delays over talks about a new contract at the San Siro, and that has led the American star to start looking at potential alternative destinations this summer, which include a return to the Premier League.

As a result, Pulisic's representatives have held talks with a number of clubs, including Arsenal, about a potential move to link up with Arteta's squad, and Milan are aware of the fact that he could look to depart following the World Cup in his homeland this summer.

Milan are still adamant that they plan to open talks with the 27-year-old over a new contract with them, and aren't worried about him leaving, but should that not happen before the season ends then a move away becomes more likely.

Arsenal Move for Pulisic Would be a Gamble

The Gunners moved to strengthen their attack last summer with the additions of Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Viktor Gyokeres, but all three players have struggled to make a major impact on the team.

Eze, in particular, has struggled when featuring on the left-wing, and with the futures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard far from secure too, a new winger for the left side of the attack could become a priority target and Pulisic's availability and experience in the Premier League means he could be someone to keep an eye on.
