Rosenior wants to play a strong team in this one, and knows he has a week off after this game, but also has a large number of players who have been absolutely run into the ground of late.
Still, the manager has gone stronger than we ever would have expected. In goal is Robert Sanchez, with captain Reece James returning at right back after a spell out.
Wesley Fofana plays in the middle with Mamadou Sarr, who makes his first start after his recall from Strasbourg.
Jorrel Hato replaces the injured Marc Cucurella at left back.
In midfield, we’re stunned to see Moises Caicedo start what is his 11th game in 43 days. He plays alongside Andrey Santos.
Ahead of them Estevao looks to be playing at number 10, with Pedro Neto on the right and Alejandro Garnacho on the left.
Liam Delap leads the line against his former team.
Cole Palmer has been left at home, and Tosin is fit enough to return to the bench, where youngsters Jesse Derry and Shim Mheuka are also hoping to get a chance later on.
In other news…
Another player that Rosenior gave an injury update on – and another player we expect could be sold in the summer – is Tosin Adarabioyo. He’s close to to a return than Jorgensen, but we don’t expect to see him this evening either.
Chelsea’s game tonight gives a perfect chance for the manager to play some youngsters – the question is, will he take it?
