The Miami Dolphins, with new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and new head coach Jeff Halfey, have a lot of work to do this offseason.
The defensive side of the ball is going to be a priority, but the offense, mainly with Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill, is a massive decision waiting to happen.
With that looming decision, Sullivan revealed that a decision is "getting close" with Tagovailoa this offseason. Ashley Dominguez of the SoFlo Sports Show shared the video, which should get Dolphins fans excited to see what's in store for Miami.

"But we're getting close to a decision," Sullivan said. "And when we do, we'll let Tua know whether he's going to be part of this or not, and we'll move forward."

While Sullivan didn't outright make the announcement that Tagovailoa won't be with the Dolphins, even mentioning the possibility he's still on the team, it looks more likely than not that the two sides are going their separate ways.
This decision could come with $99 million in dead cap space over the next two years in case of a release. But there are ways to limit the damage.

Trading him would be huge, though not many teams would likely want to trade for him now that he's going to be released at some point this offseason.
And if they do release him, which looks to be the most likely outcome, the Dolphins will have the ability to designate him as a post-June 1st cut, which would spread that $99 million dead cap charge over two seasons.
It's a massive decision for the Dolphins and Sullivan in his first year as general manager. And as Sullivan revealed, that decision could be coming soon.
