While it’s unclear whether Travis Kelce is returning to play in what would be his 14th season in the NFL, the veteran tight end is enjoying life.
Kelce flew to San Francisco to co-host a star-studded “New Heights” party before Super Bowl LX with his brother, Jason Kelce. The siblings attended the 15th annual NFL Honors and the “Tight Ends & Friends” after-party.
The 11-time Pro Bowler also made an on-field appearance at Levi’s Stadium before the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 to win Super Bowl 60.
Now, Kelce is competing AT&T Pebble Beach and fans can’t wait to see if his fiancée, Taylor Swift, will join him at the tournament. The AP reported that ticket sales spiked amid rumors the pop star was in town.

Swift is also having an exciting week. She dropped a surprise behind-the-scenes, extended version of her latest single, “Opalite,” a song inspired by her romance with Kelce, and a new remix. And it looks like her future husband played a major role in the song’s release.

DJ Chris Lake shared his conversations with Kelce before the new remix of “Opalite” dropped on February 13. “When @killatrav & @taylorswift hit you about an official remix.. you get it done :),” Lake captioned the caroisel of messages on Instagram.
Lake texted Kelce, “Travis! How’s it going. Just heard you and Taylor were listening to my tracks,” he wrote in the messages marked Jan. 16. “Great to hear. I’m going to take a crack at remixing this track for her. No idea how I’ll get on, but I’ll do my best.”
The 11-time Pro Bowler responded, “Chris! You’re a legend bro love everything you come out with, and ‘Chemistry’ is one of my favorite albums I listen to right now !! Can’t wait to see how you put it together man.”
Just one day later, Lake revealed had “something really cool” with the track but needed cut it shorter. After sending a version of the song on January 20, Kelce was blown away. “It’s so good dawg,” Kelce wrote. “I’m gonna be ripping this [expletive] every car ride. She loves it too!! She said her teams gonna reach out asap.”
Swift reposted part of the conversation on her Instagram Stories and added, “Confirmed. Travis is my in-house house guy,” with the praying hands emoji. Fans strongly reacted to Swift’s post, as she keeps her circle, especially when it comes to her music, incredibly tight. She works closely with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, along with her brother, Austin Swift. Now, Kelce is officially part of the team.

GettyTravis Kelce is expected to make a final decision on retirement sooner rather than later.
Kelce is officially a free agent after his two-year $34.5 million contract expired at the end of the season. To return to Kansas City, he’d need a new contract.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt already said the door is open should Kelce want to play one more season. A few hours before the Seahawks-Patriots Super Bowl game kicked off, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport shared an updated timeline on Kelce’s decision.
Kelce “has not made a firm decision on his future. However, he has been in touch with his team about a potential return and Kansas City wants him back,” sources told Rapoport. “The plan is to reconvene after the Super Bowl to finalize a plan that works for both parties.”
The veteran previously announced he’d reveal his final decision before free agency started in March. Kelce finished the 2025 season with 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns.
