The NBA saw one of its most legendary players leave the game Friday when Chris Paul delivered a shocking announcement before the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.
However, Paul’s absence cannot be completely surprising after he was recently cut by the Toronto Raptors after 21 NBA seasons.

During Chris Paul’s historic career, he managed to finish second all-time in assists while also earning the fifth-most money in league history.
