Clean sheets have been in short supply for Liverpool, but they could equal a feat managed only three times previous this season during Brighton‘s FA Cup visit.
Liverpool are looking for back-to-back clean sheets on Saturday evening, last achieved in December, the second of which came against Brighton in a 2-0 win.
It would be only the fourth time this season that Slot’s side have managed clean sheets in back-to-back games – they have not gone on a longer run this campaign.
The Reds are unbeaten in the last five Anfield clashes against the Seagulls, winning three and drawing two, and have lost only one of the last 12 on home soil, with eight victories.
As for the last 11 meetings in all competitions, Liverpool have failed to score only once.
That make you feel any more confident?
Liverpool milestones and landmarks vs. Brighton
Dominik Szoboszlai is currently on his highest total of goals for Liverpool in a season – he has nine. The best tally of his career is the 12 he netted in 2019/20 while with RB Salzburg.
Cody Gakpo, meanwhile, is two goals short of becoming the 58th player in the club’s history to reach 50 goals in all appearances.
And Liverpool need four goals to register 100 in all games against Albion.

Should Joe Gomez receive a yellow card and Liverpool progress, he would be suspended for the fifth round tie.
After making his return off the bench in midweek, he will be in starting contention – Slot will not want to lose another option, should the Reds progress!

When the Reds were knocked out of the cup by Brighton in 1983, it was the first-ever time Anfield had staged a Liverpool game on a Sunday.
Former Liverpool star Jimmy Case scored the winning goal for the Seagulls, who were bottom of the old First Division at the time.
The defeat meant that Bob Paisley would never lift that trophy as Liverpool manager.
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the passing of the great Bob Paisley, who died at the age of 77 on February 14, 1996.

Brighton have not won a game since winning 2-1 at Man United in the third round – they’ve drawn two and lost three of the five games played.
They have not kept a clean sheet in the last seven outings in league and cup, though they have conceded more than once in only one of those games.
At the other end of the pitch, they have scored three times in total in the last five matches.
As for their away record, they have won one of the last seven on the road, the win at United in the previous round.
