Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs in the mix for Everton’s winger Iliman Ndiaye .
The Gunners have joined several Premier League clubs monitoring the Senegal international – part of their successful AFCON winning squad – as they look to reinforce their attacking options.
Ndiaye, 25, has been a key performer for Everton this season, contributing goals and assists from wide and forward positions, which has attracted attention from multiple suitors. Everton are expected to demand a significant fee — around €75 million (roughly £70 million) — to even consider selling one of their most important attacking players.
Competition for his signature is likely to be stiff. Manchester United are widely reported to be among the leading bidders in the race, with Arsenal “ready to battle” them for his signature, and Chelsea and Tottenham also tracking his situation.
For Mikel Arteta, one of Ndiaye’s attractions is his versatility. He can play on either flank or centrally if required.
