U16 player Hakeem Abubakar has received his first competitive callup to the Arsenal U18 squad for today’s game against Birmingham City.
Abubakar, who can play as a left-back or a winger, was recently called up for a friendly against Ipswich Town.
Ceadach O’Neill returns to the starting lineup for the U18s, with Jack Porter and Josh Ogunnaike (who is captain) both involved after being part of the U21 squad last night.
There are starts for schoolboys Emerson Nwaneri and Angelinou Pedro, with first year scholar Patrick Stachow also involved from the outset.
