Erling Haaland has been ruled out of Manchester City’s FA Cup fourth-round tie against Salford City on Saturday.

Haaland found the net in City’s 3-0 win at home to Fulham on Wednesday night but was forced off at half time and was replaced by Omar Marmoush.

The Norway international, who has scored 29 goals in all competitions this season, has been left out of City’s squad for their FA Cup tie against Salford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Guardiola said: ‘Erling’s not 100 per cent but we’ll see today how he feels.

‘It’s not a big issue, the doctor said to me. But had some disturbance before and during the game and that’s why second half he didn’t play. We will see his evolution.’
