Francis Jeffers has revealed that he saw Marc Guehi and Oliver Glasner rowing during Macclesfield's big FA Cup win over Crystal Palace, just weeks before the defender left the Eagles

Marc Guehi and Oliver Glasner were 'going at it' at half-time in Crystal Palace's humiliating FA Cup defeat to minnows Macclesfield last month, according to Francis Jeffers.
Guehi was the Eagles captain on the day they were on the wrong end of the biggest shock in FA Cup history, as the competition's holders were dumped out in the third round by non-league Macclesfield, who host another Premier League side in Brentford on Sunday.
Jeffers is Macclesfield's assistant manager these days and works alongside John Rooney, the younger brother of Wayne. And ahead of this weekend's huge fourth round tie, he claims he saw Guehi and Glasner lose their cool with each other last month.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Podcast, he said: “I will say it and I don’t know if I should be saying it but Marc Guehi and Glasner are going at it in the tunnel at half-time.

“I'm walking past them and I thought, 'I like that'. There is an edge to that.”
When he was asked if he informed the Macclesfield players of that, Jeffers replied: “I did. I said, 'Look, there's big disagreements there between the manager and the captain'. So you've clearly rattled their cage.”
Unfortunately for Crystal Palace, cheer has been in short supply since their shock defeat at the hands of Macclesfield. They've won just one game in all competitions under Glasner, who has confirmed he will be leaving Selhurst Park at the end of the season.
His bombshell announcement came on the same day that he confirmed Guehi would be leaving the club for Manchester City.

Glasner made it clear he was unhappy the following day, saying: “I've seen a team that is leaving their heart on the pitch. As you have seen we couldn't make a sub, we had no-one on the bench.
“I feel we are being abandoned completely. Because I can't play many players. They did everything they could and this has been going on for weeks and months now. And we have 12, 13 players from the squad available and we feel no support.
“The worst thing is selling our captain one day before playing a Premier League game. We are preparing, it's the first week we are training since September, and then we are selling our captain one day before a game. So I have no understanding of this.
“I have always kept my mouth [closed], but I can't because I have to defend these players, because it was the 35th game today. Yes we get under pressure here and we are unlucky. But again, you can't react, we can't help them, it makes it really tough tonight.”
