“This Is Massive” Eagles – Raiders Named In Bombshell Trade, Would Change Everything

The Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders are heading into a pivotal off-season for both franchises. Las Vegas holds the number one pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, while Philadelphia is one year removed from winning the Super Bowl.

Eagles Emerge as Top Trade Suitor for Raiders Star Maxx Crosby: NFL Insider Mike Garafolo Drops Bombshell

The Maxx Crosby trade rumors are heating up fast in the 2026 NFL offseason, and one NFC powerhouse is suddenly at the center of it all.

Philadelphia Eagles fans, get ready — according to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, the Eagles are not just a possible landing spot for the Las Vegas Raiders’ elite pass rusher… they could be one of the top three to five teams in the entire league if the Raiders ever decide to listen to offers.

Garafolo made the eye-opening comments Thursday on The Anthony Gargano Show in Philadelphia when asked directly about Crosby potentially landing in the City of Brotherly Love.

Could the Eagles be a landing spot for Maxx Crosby if the Raiders trade him this offseason? 👀

“Big time.. I would put the Eagles in the top three, five, whatever [teams] for Maxx Crosby if and when this thing opens up — and I do believe it’s going to open up.”

Garafolo’s Bold Take on a Crosby-to-Eagles Trade

“Big time,” Garafolo said when the question came up. “I would put the Eagles in the top three, five, whatever [teams] for Maxx Crosby if and when this thing opens up — and I do believe it’s going to open up.”

That last part is key. Garafolo, one of the most plugged-in reporters in the league, is convinced the Raiders will eventually “open up” to trading their franchise defensive star, despite years of saying he’s untouchable.

Why Crosby Is Even in Trade Talks

Crosby has been the heart and soul of the Raiders defense for seven seasons. The 28-year-old edge rusher is coming off his fifth straight Pro Bowl and remains one of the most productive pass rushers in football — second only to Myles Garrett in several advanced metrics over the last few years.

His career numbers are absurd:

69.5 sacks

133 tackles for loss

164 quarterback hits

He’s also locked into the second year of a massive $159.4 million contract extension, which makes any deal extremely complicated (and expensive) for a potential trade partner.

Still, with the Raiders in full rebuild mode after another disappointing season, Crosby’s name has been swirling in trade speculation for weeks.

Why the Eagles Make Perfect Sense

Garafolo’s ranking of the Eagles as a top contender isn’t a stretch. Philadelphia already boasts one of the most feared defensive lines in the NFL. Adding a relentless, high-motor force like Crosby would create a nightmare front for opposing offenses.

Eagles fans on social media are already losing their minds at the possibility:

“Crosby + Carter + Davis? Goodnight.”

“How do you block that front four?”

The only real hurdles? Philadelphia’s salary cap situation and what the Raiders would realistically demand in return (likely a haul including multiple first-round picks).
