The Seahawks just won Super Bowl LX on Sunday, dominating the New England Patriots 29-13. While Seattle will rightfully bask in its glory for the foreseeable future, it’s never too early to ponder next year’s world champion.

The Seahawks have pretty good odds of forming a dynasty, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. As of Friday, they were tied with NFC West rival, the Los Angeles Rams, for the highest odds of winning Super Bowl LXI at +950.
The same song is sung on BetMGM, with the Seahawks being favored at +800 right after their title win and the Rams close behind (+900).
The 2027 title game will be played on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., the home of the Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.

“Seattle’s defense was arguably the best unit in the NFL all season long in 2025, and it showed in the Super Bowl that it can take over a game, shutting down Drake Maye and the Patriots,” Sports Illustrated betting editor Peter Dewey said. “Sam Darnold has now won the big game, but there’s a chance that the betting market values Stafford – the reigning league MVP – over him entering next season. Stafford is also a Super Bowl champion, and Darnold didn’t exactly light things up in Super Bowl LX.
“Both teams should be right back in the mix for the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and it’ll be interesting to see if Seattle can repeat this insanely impressive 2025 season.”
Added Yahoo Sports senior sports betting analyst Ben Fawkes: “The Seahawks were No. 1 in DVOA this season and the Rams were the top power-rated team by oddsmakers, so it’s not surprising that both are atop the odds board for next year, especially after Matthew Stafford indicated he’d be returning for the 2026-27 season. They are the only two teams with single-digit odds.”
The Buffalo Bills have the third best odds on DraftKings at +1100, followed by the Patriots at +1300, who are tied with the Baltimore Ravens.
On BetMGM, the Bills and Ravens are tied for the third best odds at +1200. The Patriots are sixth at +1700 following their complete undoing by the Seahawks.
The Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals have the lowest odds of winning at +25000 on both DraftKings and BetMGM.
The hosts of ESPN Radio made their own predictions for the Super Bowl LXI matchup, with none of the eight predicting to see a Seahawks’ repeat. Three predicted an NFC appearance from the Chicago Bears, while two predicted the Rams.
Super Bowl LXI is coming to ESPN and ABC in February 2027 and the “Countdown to 61” is officially underway.
